The notebooks on display are graphic souvenirs from the urban sketching project that has arrived in Torrão. Tables display these precious pages that have traveled many miles. The artist’s main objective is action, painting/drawing/writing at first sight. He records places, people, objects, details as a way to explore differences. Arriving in the village of Torrão after traveling the iconic N2 in its entirety, Gramaxo involves the community in several moments of co-creation, on the streets and at the AQUI space. On the walls, a selection of vibrant and lively pages, a print collection of postcards. For Bernardo Gramaxo, visual drawing “is not just drawing, but a connection with us and what surrounds us. A captured a moment in space and time.”
